Confused on setting app_update

Ok, here it goes..

My server is running, but I had to copy the files from the steamcmd location to my server location. No idea how to force the directory..

My server and the steamcmd directories sit on the same hard drive

steamcmd is i:steam_cmd/steamcmd_win32/steamcmd.exe

The server is I:tfc_server/tf/
srcds.exe sits in the tfc_server folder

I have tried to force to I:tfc_server/ and with I:tfc_server/tf/

Each fails.

Is the steamcmd.exe in the wrong location.. or do I have my server directories in-correct..

I can move stuff if needed..
