I've many forum posts about why pings are potentially high. I've made multiple adjustments, but the pings are still pretty high, regardless of map/plugin (irregularly in my mind).
Windows 7 Ultimate
Wolfdale Dual Core 3.0Ghz 6MB Cache CPU
4GB DDR2 800 RAM
1 TB 5400 Caviar Green HDD (possible bottleneck?)
Team Fortress 2
Server is running SourceMod/Metamod
20Mbps Down
5Mbps Up
The server is located in Kansas. Pretty centralized.
I haven't seen anyone's ping that is less than 60 (minus my own). This is a local server I own and manage.
Do you guys see anything amiss?
