When i join my own server I'm getting a high sv and var, im rubberbanding and lagging a lot. I've had this server for like a month now, but this issue just happened. There have been some changes i made to my pc before it happened, but im not sure if that is the problem or how to reverse it. What happened is that i was getting a VAC authentication error in CSGO, so i followed a few solutions mentioned on the internet,
1) Cleanup of Steam files:
- Delete cache folder in *\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo.
- Delete appcache folder in *\Steam.
- Delete ClientRegistry.blob in *\Steam.
- Verify integrity of game cache for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

2) Steam Repair:
Close Steam. Run CMD with admin privileges.

Line: "*\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair

3) Enable DEP:
Run CMD with admin privileges. Reboot.

Line: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn

Line: bcdedit.exe /deletevalue nx

4) Enable Kernel Integrity & disable Kernel Debugging:
Run CMD with admin privileges. Reboot.

Line: bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks

Line: bcdedit /debug off

5) UAC:
Completely disable User Account Control (Start -> uac -> Never notify).

I would really appreciate any help.

I cannot portfoward my CSS server

I start my server look through the log and find this line of text network: IP 192.168.1.114, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL so what I did added both ports from above to my routers portfoward section like so CSS1 = 27015 27015 BOTH 192.168.1.114 and I did the same for the other port. When I go to css I can find my server if I go to add to favorites and I add my server ip but if I try to connect to it, add it to favorites, or search it up on the multiplayer it wont work. I dont have a config and my server shows up as half life 2 server. What happened y cant I connect

Ok, the problem is that clients use my ip reference.

example:

my ip public: 200.40.40.40:27015

server:
Russian Player connected (200.40.40.40:27006)
USA Player connected (200.40.40.40:27007)
Brazilian Player connected (200.40.40.40:54165)

Segmentation fault with SourceMod

Hi everyone. This is my first time trying to get a srcds running in linux. The server works just fine after a fresh install, and even after installing MetaMod:Source. But once I install SourceMod I start getting segmentation faults, specifically when I try changing the map. I'm trying this with MetaMod:Source version 1.10.3 and I've tried SourceMod versions 1.6.2 release, 1.6.3-git4588, and 1.7.0-git4939. Here's the output I see when running the server:

I can provide any other information that's needed -- I'm not sure what could help -- but does anyone have any ideas for what could be wrong or where I could investigate for more information about the problem? It at least seems like it is SourceMod related, but I'm not sure specifically what else to look for at this point.

SRCDS Port and IP Binding Problems

My problem:
I have been trying for around 3 days to fix this with no luck.
Everytime I try to set launch my launch file, I will get this:

Couldn't allocate any server IP port
And the server will restart.
I do not host on the same PC as I am playing on, I use a wired connection, I have set up iptables, and I have opened the correct ports (I got a Listen Server working on the same PC a few times). I do try to use my internal IP, however that will also bring up the same message.

What is Capture The Prize?

Capture The Prize is a FREE to join and FREE to win monthly contest where players who play on any servers can win prizes just for playing (no skill required). Server hosts can also win a prize by referring the most active players. Servers also benefit from increased player traffic as well as rewarding your existing player base with the chance to win prizes. 40+ multiplayer games and all mods are supported (Garrys Mod, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike GO, DayZ, Minecraft, Starbound, etc.). Game Servers do not need to install any plugins. We just need your Server IP, Port, Query Port (If applicable) and game type.

Unlike similar programs, Capture The Prize does not force your players to sit through an intrusive motd. In fact there is no motd at all. Server Operators do have the option of using our Sourcemod Plugin or Garrys Addon - but these only display a text banner advertising your referrer url (every 10 minutes by default).

Player Prize - All players who have played on any tracked server for at least a combined 1 hour will be entered into the drawing and a winner will be chosen at random. Players gain points every 15 minutes. You will gain points on any server, but you must first add them to your "Personal Server List" on the website. More points increase your odds of winning; they do not guarantee you to win.

Referral Prize - Server Operators who referred the most active players (a player who activated their account, sent their SteamID and accumulated at least 4 points) will win one of these. How it Works

I'm trying to create a dedicated server for a source 2013 mp-only mod, with the latest src updates and I've compiled both server and client dlls with C++ 2010 with no errors.
The mod it self runs fine on steam, but trying to create a server for my mod (freegrid):

HL2DM and CSS servers running on the same 'srcds.exe' start fine with no problem.

I've googled and found no solution. any help is appreciated

cs go server up but not showing any signs of being able to connect

I followed the directions in this http://csgo.gamebanana.com/tuts/11420 exactly.

My server starts normally, it displays the normal messages. However, when i try to connect, the client fails after ten retries, and the server shows no signs of having received any kind of data from the client. I try to connect from the computer that runs the server, and from other computers in my lan. The server shows up in the browser, but still fails to connect. Any help would be appreciated. All my configs and stuff can be found in that guide

srcds closing within seconds of being launched, no error?

I've been trying to launch a fresh server off of my dedicated machine, and shortly after starting it, the srcds window just closes. I've also tried launching the server with seDirector, and it claims that the server "Crashed by closing". This issue exists with servers created by seDirector or by myself via SteamCMD. This is my info;

BASIC INFO
Server OS: Windows Server 2012 - 64-bit
Processor: Intel Xeon E5-1620, clocked at 3.6GHz, 4 physical cores and 8 threads (hyperthreaded)
Ram: 64GB at 1333MHz
Game(s): Garry's Mod, but I've also tested it with CS:S and the issue still exists

css My Windows srcds crashes with cssmatch and mani admin

Hello Smile when the mani admin and the cssmatch are both installed and I start a match, my server is just crashing. It's very interesting.. The server is downloaded from SteamCMD, with newest mani admin plugin, and with cssmatch 2.2.4 Sad uhh yes, and when the mani is not installed, the cssmatch works correctly, no crash, no lagg, etc.

Greetings here is another announcememt in the interest of safer networking.
Back in August of 2012 I frequently was a member here and on a clan site hosting servers from valve software. I even was a supporting donor on their site, making financial contributions for their servers.
During that time I witnessed some rather obvious signatures of foul play being committed both in game and in their forums.
One day it was found that a member of the group had been banned for hacking.
I knew this person very well and had extensive conversations with him about What had happened. The administrators had run a demo recording of him during the session which was quite conclusive. Now it was well known that there were other members of this group, including administrators, whom were doing the very same thing. This event created a rift in the membership and other players began noticing similar activity. One day an individual whom had been identified as a hacker was suddenly banned and a very Conclusive demo was posted on the forums which showed the events.
It was a recording from the player perspective which showed an aimbot being utilized. After viewing the recording I thought about it being too perfect of a demo catching him and I realized that it mirrored the previous ban that my friend had received. This was another factor in my decision to leave the group. Not only did I quit I went to PayPal and rescinded my donation for the month.
Within a week I found that my PayPal account had been closed. Then the account with valve software began being changed every time I went online. Then an account with my bank was closed.
It wasn't to much effort to realize that the computer was the source of the data leak. I began a painstaking process of system analysis to find the process by which they were stealing passwords.
Finally I ran Kaspersky rescue on the system and it found a keylogger and a rat
Installed at the root of the hard drive.
Corrections were made and the system was restored to service.
The problems continued and what I found was that the laptop a friend had was also hacked. Each time he visited and we played online his system was being used to
Find the internal ip of my modem. About the same time I discovered that my account with the isp was also being used to connect wirelessly to their system access points. there were several individuals whom were getting free internet with the provider.
At the end if an extensive investigation by both myself and the provider "NUMEROUS " arrests were made.
The results of these investigations was then submitted to both Valve software and PayPal corporation by mail. It was about a month later when I became aware that several individuals showed up in the community were I lived and began shadowing me in my activities I watched and waited until the point were I had identified the sources of the new activity and once again Sat and watched several arrests being made.
Round three, now being completely frustrated with their failures they falsified a reporting to the police claiming I harassed one of their children, reported to retailers I was shoplifting, utilized cellular accounts and hardware to steal data and close two more bank accounts.
Lets see then their was the break in at my apartment were they stole prescription medications, then reported to both the police and my doctor that I was selling my prescriptions.
You would think that after all of this You would get the message. Let me spell it out again for you.
